inspiration

Most of my paintings have monumental dimensions. An individual painting is often part of a series. I want my work to have a sense of physical presence, but to also be accessible, expressing feelings that are universally understood. I try to employ a certain simplicity in the work, to capture human emotions in a single line or stain.
